Christmas 2010

We had a very quiet holiday week in the Janish household.  Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma Pam and Grandpa Doug’s eating lasagna as we always do.  Nicole, Greg and the girls were there and Laila had a blast playing with Ana.  She really loves her older cousin Ana!

We decorated Santa’s cookies with the girls.  Although from the looks of it, the adults had more fun than the little ones!  Laila and I made Santa’s cookies earlier on Christmas Eve Day.  It was really fun and I will do it every year with her until she refuses. 🙂

Here are the cookies and the note that Laila left for Santa.

It says “here are cookies for you and your reindeer, love laila”

And here is what she found the next morning!

We had fun opening presents with Mommy, Daddy and Laila.

Laila found her favorite candy in her stocking from Santa!

After some family time we skyped with the East Coast Janishes and opened gifts with them.

We had breakfast with my parents before they left on their trip to Florida.

It was a really nice Christmas Day and we enjoyed every minute of our last Christmas alone with our big girl! 🙂
