Today we are embarking on our Thanksgiving Road trip. Although not nearly our longest trip. ( That was the Summer on 2010 Vegas/Dallas/Minnesota circuit of 39 hours of driving plus many many stops!) Easter Bunny Strikes Again!

This year Easter was a lot of fun with Laila. We were able to dye egg with little to no injuries to my house. She found a lot of joy in writing on the eggs with crayon and the making the “magic crayon” work, as she says. We had Easter morning at our house

We had a very quiet holiday week in the Janish household. Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma Pam and Grandpa Doug’s eating lasagna as we always do. We had a great Mother’s Day weekend! For Mother’s Day, I got beautiful roses from Laila, she is so thoughtful. Also, a hand made card and her handprints that she made at daycare. I got to lay around and they made me breakfast. ** Which was slightly interrupted by the spillage of French toast batter

Laila is doing a little Easter morning playdoh art. She had an exciting morning looking through her Easter basket and searching for all the eggs the Easter Bunny hid for her! This afternoon we are off to the Liekhus’ house to enjoy some time with old friends!

Thank goodness the madness of the holidays are over! Although, it does make me a little sad that Laila’s first Christmas has come and gone. Here is the Janish family on the day that we left Texas!
